Kaiserdom was the winner of the 6-year old Dressage
Horse division at the Bundeschampionate. The black
Trakehner stallion followed in his bigger brother
Kaiserkult's footsteps claiming the same title
as Kaiserkult did in 2004.
At the Bundeschampionate Kaiserdom performed
a beautiful test. Upon entering the ring he immediately
made a big impression with his natural uphill
carriage. Judge Christoph Hess praised the horse
for his "outstanding cadence and balance,
especially in the traversal movements. The tempo
in medium and extended trot was regulated with
much feeling…"
Kaiserdom´s sire Van Dyk was Premium stallion
at his licensing in 1986 in Neumünster and
had already won dressage shows up to medium level
at the age of six. In 1993 and 1994, he competed
successfully up to advanced level and moved up
to Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I in 1995.
He then started at Grand Prix and competed successfully
in international competitions. Van Deyk was proclaimed
Trakehner Elite stallion in 1997 and Trakehner
Stallion of the Year 2005.
Kaiserdom´s dam is a State Premium mare
who was successful in riding horse performance
tests and has also produced the licensed stallion
Kaiserkult, who was Federal Champion in the class
of six- year-old dressage horses in 2004. Kaiserdom's
dam-sire Gajus is the last son still alive of
the great Trakehner sire Flaneur.
Kaiserdom is an international calibre horse and
a real star prospect of the future.
