Quarterline certainly can´t deny his sire
is Quattro because when it comes to character
and temperament as well as movement potential
he is very much like him. De Niro, German Champion
and Derby winner as well as Grand Prix winner,
is distinguished by being the sire of 6 Grand
Prix winning horses.
His off-spring have meanwhile won more than 100.000
Euros. When bred to Quattro, the granddam, State
Premium and Elite Mare Schickeria, produced the
stallion Quando Quando, a Grand Prix winner under
his Australian rider Kristy Oatley and also the
sire of licensed sons and grandsons such
as Quarterback, Bundeschampion of three year old
stallions and the sire of the Champion Stallion
at the 2007 licensing in Redefin.
The great granddam, State Premium Mare Schirocko
by Matador, was successful in advanced (SB) level
show jumping under H.H. Engemann. This family
is also known for the stallion Arbolito by Aletto,
Last Night by Landadel, Rocher H by Rohdiamant,
Don Rubinland by Donnerschwee and Varus by the
Thoroughbred stallion Vierzehnender xx.
Beautifully bred dual purpose stallion who would
work well with TB mares, giving excellent hock
movement and a super trainable temperament.
