Radiating reserve winner at the Oldenburg stallion approvals in 2003 the large framed stallion has amazing movement potential. The walk and canter are strong enough for the highest demands.
Rubin Cortes is from Rubin Royals first set of offspring. Rubin Royal managed to reproduce himself in terms of phenomenal type and movement quality, it is difficult to descride his radience with words . Also in jumping he has shown outstanding quality, a multitalent like his father.
The mother's father Calmiro, is a successful stallion in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg. He is the full brother to Oldenburg's best known stallion Continue. The Luxemburger motherline introduced many french qualities resulting in a successful outcross. One example is the great grandfather Eldorado whose blood is of Furioso xx and Ibrahim - also the great great grandfather Lutteur is by a Furioso xx -Son.
In 2004 Rubin Cortes completed his stallion performance testing in Adelheidsdorf, finishing third overall. In the dressage index he was second with 136.31 points. Meanwhile the stallion has won L-Dressage-Tests with high points. In 2006 he become "Landeschampion" of the 5-year old stallions Dressage in Rastede.
This is a powerful and longlined stallion which would work well on TB mares to produce dual purpose sports horses with good trainable temperaments.
